Rescued From....

Hey again folks. Here's my chance to recognize and say thank you to all the folks who helped me out. I ended up in the Birmingham Jefferson County Alabama shelter. Thanks to folks like Phil & Garland from the shelter, plus the Bama Bully Rescue volunteers & all their supporters, I made it into foster care as you know. There were others involved I am sure but I don't know your names but say thank you too, you know who you are. I figured everyone should see my shelter photos (although they certainly do not show my best side). You can compare my latest photos and see that I am filling out more to my full bully potential. Thanks again all y'all.

ABOUT BAMA BULLY RESCUE

Bama Bully Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization located in Alabama that works with shelters and the public in finding homes for Pit Bulls and "Bully breeds" that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or fallen victim to other situations in their lives. "Bully breeds" helped by BBR may be: American Pit Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Mastiffs, Boxers, and some "Bully breed" mixes. BBR strives to educate the public about the true nature of such breeds and encourages responsible ownership by offering training, behavioral and health care advice in hopes to decrease the number of Bullies that would, without such support, be relinquished.

Bama Bully Rescue is a volunteer-run organization with members located all across the state of Alabama. We do not have one central location or a kennel. The dogs listed on our site are kept in foster homes, however some of our urgent dogs are stuck in shelters in Alabama. We work with many different Alabama shelters to try and give these dogs a chance at finding a home instead of automatically facing the euthanasia table.

While most of our volunteers do have experience in Bully rescue, we still need help in our mission. We hope that you will support us in our mission whether it’s by donating, recommending us to your friends, becoming a foster home or volunteer (whether it is full time or part time), joining the AL Pit Bull Lovers group, or even joining us as a friend on Myspace. There are many Bullies out there who need our help, and we need your help to help them.
